Blue Cat's Eye Cabochons

Washington Jade has recently begun producing cabochons of an incredibly rare, blue variety of cat's eye jade that may only be found on Washington Jade's claims in the Cascade Mountains of Western Washington.  Cat's eye jade, a structurally-distinct variety of nephrite (tremolite), displays a special aligned chatoyance known as an "eye" that moves as light travels across the stone's surface.  Washington Jade maintains a small stock of high-grade cabochons of this material for jewelers and designers.  A complete, up-to-date list of our inventory of these stones, is available here.
